London Picture CD

Thanks to everyone who followed our blog during our trip! A great time was had by all and we're glad that we were able to post our daily adventures to everyone back home.

We are now looking to create a London picture CD that contains the best-of-the-best pictures from parents and students who went on the trip. We are asking that people who took pictures on the trip bring in a CD (or flash drive) with their favorite pictures. We will take these pictures and create master CD that will then be duplicated for anyone wishing a copy.

So, please bring in those pictures!!!! When we have the master CD ready, we will ask you to bring in a blank CD and we will make a free copy of the master CD for you!

Saturday

Today the whole group took a tour to Oxford then to Windsor castle. Once again it was cold, but very sunny, making for some great pictures. Everyone raved about how much both tours and I'm sure it will be most people's favorite part of the trip. Below are some pictures I took with my tour group.

Parade Videos

Thanks to everyone that has posted (or found) videos of our performance in the parade. I just finished uploading four videos that my wife took throughout the parade.

Parade Update

It was sunny and cold day in London, perfect day for marching in a parade in front of tens of thousands of people (and millions across the world via TV!) I can't explain how incredible it is to participate in a parade where everyone is so excited and thankful that you are there. People everywhere and of every nationality where coming up and asking to take pictures of the band and with students from the band.

As soon as we finished, all the students immediately started talking about how amazing the experience was for them. I just finished uploading some pictures and I will try to have some videos available before too long.

Everyone has free night, but the directors are headed to a special parade reception for directors, so I won't be able to take anymore pictures today. Sorry =(

Update on Parade Broadcast....

I know lots of people have been asking what networks will be featuring footage of the Band in the Parade, I haven't been able to answer yet because no one can give us an answer. All networks have been offered the "live feed" for pickup, but none have confirmed that they will be broadcasting any portion of the parade.

I have received word that another school participating in the parade will be offering a webcast of the live feed. Below I will give a link to the article about their band, and then the link to the site where the webcast will be offered.

I hope you guys are able to pick it up.

OK, going to give this a shot: I've got my laptop setup at the party and I'm going to invite kids to come over and post messages to their family and friends via comments to this thread, so be sure to check the comments below.
